Welcome summer with the Coral line
June 21, 2023: here we are, summer is officially back! We welcome it with a perfectly themed table, which immediately transports us, at least virtually, to the seashore and makes us dream of relaxed atmospheres that smell like vacation. Here is the Coral porcelain line, created by interior designer Salvatore Izzo, an expert in American style and the harmony of living spaces.
Conceived as a tribute to the sea, the cradle of life, Coral brings all its beauty to the table with a decoration that, as its name suggests, recalls the fragile ecosystem of corals. There, beneath the surface of the sea, lies a submerged world rich in biodiversity that fascinates with its multicolored hues, but at the same time is threatened by humans and climate change. It is almost a duty to pay tribute to this particular natural formation, which is the ideal habitat for countless underwater creatures. Salvatore Izzo's intention is to bring natural elements to the table to remind us of the beauty and power that surrounds us, to restore value to Nature and its infinite expressions.

The soft blue brushstrokes that surround the fruit plate and serving dish in the collection are reminiscent of the shades of crystal-clear water in a still unspoiled sea where you can let yourself be lulled by the waves. The gold thread that encloses, finishes, and decorates each item, right down to the coffee cup, is a precious touch that makes the mise en place even more refined.
In addition to the plates, Coral includes a number of accessories—which it shares with the Apulia and Hive lines, also designed by Salvatore Izzo for Weissestal—that serve as a sort of common thread between the three collections. The teacup, oval serving dish, soup tureen, sugar bowl, teapot, milk jug, small bowl, and salad bowl are a triumph of simple elegance, in white porcelain finished with a gold thread around the rim.

Everything is ready for a summer of style at the table. All that remains is to invite your friends and start setting the table.
