Weissestal’s Christmas table at Palazzo Bovara
On the weekend of December 11 and 12, 2021, Weissestal was delighted to take part in the third edition of Happy Natale Happy Panettone – with Artisti del Panettone –, an event celebrating artisan panettone, the sweet symbol of Christmas.
The event was promoted by Confcommercio Milano with its associations: Altoga, Associazione Panificatori, ART Arti della Tavola e del Regalo and Capac, Politecnico del Commercio e del Turismo, and organized in collaboration with MNcomm, APCI Associazione professionale cuochi italiani, with the support of Fiera Milano and the patronage of the Lombardy Region, the Municipality of Milan, and the Milan Monza Brianza Lodi Chamber of Commerce.
In Corso Venezia 51, Milan, the splendid setting of Palazzo Bovara hosted - in compliance with anti-Covid regulations - a large audience of enthusiasts, offering tastings of artisan panettone made by 14 artists and free masterclasses aimed at revealing how to recognize a true artisan panettone and suggesting new and tasty combinations.
On the first floor of the Palazzo, seven Christmas tables set up for the occasion were the stars of an elegant and inspiring exhibition for the upcoming holidays. For the occasion, Weissestal presented its new and much-loved Xmas line, rich in traditional decorations and modern shapes, for a Christmas to be enjoyed around the table.
The Umberto Veronesi Foundation, charity partner of the event, was also present with a space dedicated to the sale of Christmas gadgets and solidarity panettone, the proceeds of which were donated to pediatric cancer research.
Combined with the "Artisti del Panettone" event was the competition of the same name, conceived and organized in partnership with La Gazzetta dello Sport: the award ceremony, held on Sunday, December 12, and hosted by chef Alessandro Borghese and Giulia Salemi, crowned Luigi Biasetto, master pastry chef at the Biasetto pastry shop in Padua, as the winner.
Here are some photos of the event.
