Heritage Blue
The Heritage Blue porcelain line is dressed in Pantone's color of the year for 2020, a year that has left an indelible mark on all our lives.
Evocative of tradition, yet modern and contemporary at the same time, PANTONE 19-4052 Classic Blue is an expression of timeless elegance which, on the Heritage dinner service, meets the typical floral decoration inspired by the 1950s with a romantic effect. This decoration was created by Anna Rinieri, a Tuscan artist who drew inspiration from nature to bring a refined tableware set to the table.
Leatrice Eiseman, executive director of the Pantone Color Institute, described Classic Blue as follows: "A stable shade of blue that we can always rely on. Boundless blue evokes the vast and infinite evening sky, encouraging us to look beyond the obvious to think more deeply and outside the box, to broaden our horizons and encourage the flow of communication. Instilling calm, confidence, and a sense of connection, this timeless shade of blue highlights our desire for a stable and reliable foundation from which to start as we prepare to cross the threshold into a new era."
The color blue is known to have several properties: it is relaxing, promotes mental concentration, calms the nervous system, and eases anxiety. In short, it has a general calming effect that invites reflection. So what better choice for your table in an era full of change? The fruit plate and serving dish from the Heritage line contrast with the other items in the collection, featuring solid blue with white decoration to create a lively yet refined table setting. The coffee cup, tea cup, and sugar bowl complete the mise en place for a refined coffee time after a meal or a chic snack.
According to the Pantone Color Institute, "as human ability struggles to keep pace with technology, it is not surprising that we are attracted to honest colors that offer a sense of protection." So, every lunch or dinner with friends becomes the perfect opportunity to create your own happy place, with the certainty that the watchword is always "elegance" thanks to the beauty of a line of dishes that will never go out of style.
