From rice to handle
The handles of the W°pots Pratika and Moderna Eco-logical lines, as the name suggests, are made with environmental respect and circular economy in mind. Entirely Made in Italy, they are the result of a patent that stems from careful studies, tests, and analyses, leading to a final product that stands out for its design, reliability, and durability.
The Eco-logical handle is made from rice husks, also known as "pulone," which is the waste product from the process of husking paddy rice, or raw rice after threshing. This material, which would otherwise be thrown away and disposed of, is given new dignity and new life in the name of sustainability.
Rice feeds 66% of the world's population, and Italy accounts for 50% of European production. Therefore, the choice to reuse a product that is abundant is in line with the theme of environmental sustainability, in a world that is becoming increasingly aware of the need to respect, reuse, and produce in a conscious manner.
The black Eco-logical handle, applied to the bodies of the Pratika and Moderna pans, adds elegance to the items and guarantees ease of use thanks to its shape.
