Bees: a heritage to be preserved

May 20 marks World Bee Day, established by the UN to highlight the importance and fragility of these small, industrious insects that preserve biodiversity and the health of the ecosystem for us every day.

Climate change and human impact on the environment, through the use of pesticides and pollution, threaten the life of bees, which is essential for regulating nature's cycles. If bees were to disappear, all life on our planet would truly be at risk. Bees play a key role in pollination, ensuring the continuity of plant species, new blooms, and new shoots for the continuous renewal and rebirth of fruits, flowers, and food sources for every species.

Yes, if we can eat fruit and vegetables every day, it is thanks to bees! In fact, it is estimated that domestic and wild bees are responsible for about 70% of the pollination of all plant species living on the planet. In addition, they also produce excellent products such as honey, royal jelly, pollen, and wax, bringing many benefits not only to the Earth but also to humans.

In light of all this, we also want to pay tribute to bees at the table, in the simple everyday routine of a family lunch, perhaps outdoors and to the sound of the insects buzzing...

Here is the Hive tableware set designed by Salvatore Izzo—an interior designer specializing in the harmony of living spaces and American style—a triumph of beauty that celebrates the work of bees with an elegant decoration that echoes the cells of a beehive. The white porcelain is embellished with gold thread, and the soup plate and serving dish feature a bee with open wings. The decoration continues on the coffee cup and bread plate, while the other accessories that complete the collection, such as the teapot, sugar bowl, milk jug, fruit bowl, elegant soup tureen with two handles, tea cup, and salad bowl, are finished with a simple gold trim, creating a refined and simple elegance

The inspiration for this splendid line comes directly from the textures of Nature's creation and reminds us of how much beauty surrounds us, encouraging us to appreciate even the small things, just like the incessant work of bees.

Outdoor elegance

All the beauty of Salvatore Izzos Hive line porcelain, whose decoration echoes the wonderful geometry of a honeycomb, sparkles in the sun during a relaxing outdoor picnic.

Picnics yes, but always chic! All items are finished in real 12 kt gold thread, as are the stems of the Tuli Optic Gold glasses. To always bring beauty, together with that of Nature.
