A spring table

Sun, clouds, rain, wind, the first warm days, then clouds and rain again: this is spring, as changeable and capricious as ever, but also cheerful and light-hearted, to be enjoyed with renewed enthusiasm.

Spring brings with it a renewed desire for novelty and color, after the gray of winter, in anticipation of summer.

It's time to change your wardrobe, to bring your terraces and balconies back to life, to enjoy outdoor aperitifs and cooler clothes, to feel the sun on your skin and to count down the days to your long-awaited vacation. Everything seems to blossom again, as does the desire to bring a little liveliness to both your wardrobe and your home.

For the table, there is nothing better than a new dinner service to welcome friends and family in style: with the Cottage line, in porcelain, you will be spoiled for choice. Do you feel more Green, Yellow, or Tiffany? Or perhaps Marsala Red, Tortora, or Ivory?

Mix and match your favorite colors or set a single-color table with flair, using versatile accessories such as the legendary bowls or rectangular tray.

Saturday night aperitif? Nothing beats these bowls for serving finger food to enjoy while chatting. And ice cream? Well, they're obviously perfect for dessert too! We've thought of everything. They can even be used as centerpieces, fruit bowls, or coin trays, depending on your preferences. They're beautiful when empty, but even more beautiful when full!

Yellow is the color of the sun, liveliness, joie de vivre, energy, and optimism. It is perfect for welcoming the warm season to your table, and we offer it in a breakfast version: the Cottage Yellow line includes coffee cups, breakfast cups, and mugs, so you can organize a brunch where style is the main course. Psychologically, yellow is believed to have a stimulating effect on people, encouraging interpersonal exchange and communication. So, with your table dressed in Cottage Yellow, there will certainly be no shortage of conversation starters!

As summer approaches, we all know that our diets become lighter and healthier. Make way for fresh salads, seasonal produce, and balanced dishes in preparation for swimsuit season, without sacrificing aesthetics: even at the table, we want our food to look good. That's why we love to set the table with character, even for a quick snack. Cottage Tiffany brings the color of the summer sky to the table, allowing us to dream of relaxed atmospheres by the sea.

And what color better than white suits a bright spring and summer table setting? The prince of versatility: Cottage Ivory, in all its splendor. The true dreamer is the one who looks at an empty plate and imagines the spaghetti with seafood it could contain. Like a blank canvas, the table set with Cottage Ivory is just waiting to be painted with bright colors: tomato red, salad green, omelet yellow, salmon pink, carrot orange... and so on and so forth!

It's not just about food: with the first heat waves, it's important to stay hydrated. A warm herbal tea is an excellent way to stay hydrated, with that extra flavor that satisfies the palate. The cups in the Cottage line are very large (400 ml) and, in the Tortora color, are perfect for keeping on your desk, even at the office.

Finally, for those who love bright and vibrant colors, Cottage Marsala Red is the ideal solution. A little country and a little vintage, this set is perfect for a family lunch or dinner with friends, with its warm and enveloping tones.

Eating from colorful plates, especially red or other saturated shades, allows us to better perceive the food they contain, so much so that nursing homes recommend using tableware with high contrast compared to the dishes. Both gastro-physicist Charles Spence and the scientific community ("The Red Plate Study," a study promoted by Boston University under the guidance of biopsychologist Alice Cronin-Gamb) believe that Alzheimer's patients who eat from red plates consume 25% more food than those who eat from white plates, as they are better able to distinguish the dishes.

In short, we are ready to color our tables together with you, always in the name of style and elegance.
