Like all good things, our series dedicated to recipes cooked in W°pots is coming to an end. But don't worry, there is still so much potential to discover when it comes to true innovation in the kitchen, and today we are ending in style with a delicious pan-fried and oven-baked pizza with buffalo mozzarella and fried zucchini flowers, prepared for us by Teresa Balzano - Peperoniepatate. 

Have you ever heard of cooking pizza in a pan/oven?

It's a practical and effective method for making pizza that's as close as possible to what you'd get at a pizzeria.

To get excellent results with this method, I strongly recommend choosing the right pan for the first cooking stage.

You will need to choose a material that heats well and distributes heat evenly. It should also be non-stick. These characteristics are perfectly reflected in the Millenium pan by @w.pots_. This pan, which has no handle made of other materials (unlike other models in the line), is also suitable for use in the oven, thus avoiding the need to transfer the pizza from the pan to a baking sheet (and preventing heat loss).

For the toppings, I chose buffalo mozzarella and crispy fried zucchini flowers.

For frying, I used a pan from the Eco-logical line, whose handle is made from rice husks, the waste product of raw rice after threshing. The reuse of this material, which would otherwise be thrown away, is part of a circular economy approach that is good for the environment.

The pan is also perfect for quick cooking at high temperatures.

To achieve results worthy of the best pizzeria, Teresa relied on the versatility of our Millenium W°pots line, which can also be used in the oven, thus avoiding heat loss when transferring the pizza from the pan to the baking sheet. For frying the zucchini flowers, on the other hand, the Moderna Eco-logical pan, with its long handle made from rice husks, is ideal for optimal results.
