How is content created? Behind the scenes with La Sposa degli Alberi

We had a chat with Mary Tricarico, aka La Sposa degli Alberi, shooting and wedding stylist, to discover the secrets behind a photo shoot for a porcelain tableware line like our Heritage collection. A lot of research, careful planning, meticulous staging, and the work of a close-knit team are just some of the ingredients that go into creating a series of emotional shots that go beyond images to speak to the heart, even if it's "just" a table.

  • Mary, tell us a little about your team, your winning team...

My team is undoubtedly my added value: "team is king." La Sposa degli Alberi is much more than a group of wedding suppliers, it is a team of industry professionals: skilled, passionate, bound by family love and friendship, able to design and create weddings—and more—always to perfection. We all share the same values: a passion for nature, beauty, and detail. Our synergy allows us to work with serenity and harmony on every project, sharing the same vision of life and ideas. We love having the opportunity to work together on the same project, because we are confident that we can guarantee a consistent and well-tested result in terms of taste and reliability.

  • How the photos and videos you create for Weissestal come about!

The photos we take for Weissestal are also the result of a specially designed project. This project is based on:

  • study of the color palette
  • concept development
  • search for the correct structural color harmony

Our photos and videos, just like weddings, must have the power to convey the product through the correct use of light, colors, and settings. In a word, they must evoke emotion.

  • What do you appreciate about the Weissestal lines that inspires you for a shoot?

Undoubtedly, the constant research and innovation. The tasteful attention to new trends without ever losing sight of functionality and essentiality. I love the Weissestal brand and am happy to often have the opportunity to create emotional shoots featuring your products.

  • How important is the mise en place, both in a photo shoot and at a wedding reception?

Personally, I believe that attention to mise en place at a reception plays an extremely important role. A carefully planned mise en place, studied in detail and respecting certain etiquette rules, gives the entire setting, as well as a photo shoot, an essential impactful and emotional effect. For me, mise en place is one of the things I love most!

Backstage at the Heritage shoot

How is a photo created? Through extensive research, careful planning, meticulous staging, and the work of a close-knit team. Here’s a look behind the scenes of the Heritage line photo shoot curated by Mary Tricarico – La Sposa degli Alberi and her team in an exceptional location: the 19th-century greenhouse of the Villa Lina relais, a 40-hectare farmhouse with synergistic vegetable gardens and historic gardens. A location steeped in history, a link between the Renaissance gardens of Tuscia and contemporary secret gardens.
