Dolcidfrolla’s Christmas recipe

Today we conclude the culinary inspirations of our virtual Advent calendar and tomorrow we will have the last "inspiration" for the mise en place. Christmas is just around the corner, and we hope we have helped you find some original ideas for your menu. Today's desserts are delicious gingerbread cupcakes suggested by Daniela - Dolcidifrolla, to brighten up your table and make both adults and children happy. Let's see how to make them.

INGREDIENTS for 12 cupcakes

  • 250 g flour
  • 150 g sugar
  • 80 ml seed oil (or 70 g butter)
  • 1 jar plain yogurt
  • 120 ml milk
  • 1 egg
  • 1 sachet baking powder
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 250 ml whipping cream
  • gingerbread cookies

Method

Pour the yogurt into a bowl, add the milk, then add the egg, oil, and sugar. Mix gently with a whisk, then stir in the sifted flour with the baking powder, cinnamon, and salt.

Fill the molds placed in their baking pan.

Bake at 170°C for 25 minutes.

Remove from the oven and leave to cool.

Meanwhile, whip the cold cream until stiff and fill a piping bag with a star nozzle.

Decorate the cupcakes with the cream, a sprinkling of cinnamon, and the gingerbread cookies.

Daniela has also chosen the magic of the Xmas porcelain Christmas service, which at this time of year becomes the undisputed star of the table (along with good food!). All that remains is to gather your loved ones and enjoy the warm atmosphere of a festive day together.
